A Igreja e a Batalha Espiritual

O Novo Testamento nos apresenta diversos quadros relativos à Igreja, especialmente no livro de Efésios a vemos como uma família, um templo, a noiva de Cristo, e também como um exército que está envolvido num conflito global.

Por conflito global, podemos entender que a guerra espiritual não somente está voltado a um aspecto terreno, mas também envolve as regiões celestiais, ou seja, o universo criado. Podemos parafrasear Efésios 6:12 de acordo com o original grego da seguinte forma: “Nossa luta livre não é contra sangue e carne ou contra pessoas com corpos, senão contra governadores sobre diversas áreas e ordens descendentes de autoridades, contra os dominadores do mundo da obscuridade presente, contra forças espirituais do mal nas regiões celestes”.

Esta referência bíblica nos apresenta os quatro níveis de autoridade do reino das trevas, assim podemos entender verdadeiramente contra quem estamos guerreando.

1) Principados (no grego arché, que significa espíritos governantes, magistrados, poderes, começo, sendo que começo neste caso se refere ao tempo ou ordem). Principados são espíritos demoníacos poderosos da mais alta hierarquia (primeiro escalão), recebendo ordens diretamente de Satanás, dominando e operando nos lugares celestiais. São chamados de príncipes (Dan. 10:13,20).

2) Potestades (no grego exousia, significando autoridades que permitem ou impedem, poder delegado). As potestades têm poderes executivos, recebendo autoridade e poder delegado pelos principados. Nos textos de I Cor. 15:24 e Colos. 2:15 refere-se à todas as autoridades e poderes malignos, que se opõem a Jesus Cristo e a Igreja.

3) Príncipes do mundo destas trevas (no grego kosmokrator, que significa governadores mundiais, os senhores do mundo; vem de “kosmos”, isto é, “mundo” e “krator”, isto é, governados). Estes são responsáveis pela luta contra a verdadeira luz e levam o povo às trevas, cegando-lhes os olhos e enviando trevas às almas dos homens. Quando oramos por pessoas que estão dominadas pela cegueira de Satanás e por pessoas que estão em religiões pagãs estamos guerreando contra este tipo de inimigo. Estes governadores mundiais governam sobre nações através do seu poder de cegar a mente dos homens. Exercem também autoridade sobre diferentes sistemas de governos do mundo.

4) Hostes espirituais da iniqüidade nas regiões celestes (no grego pneumatikos, que vem da raiz da palavra “pneuma”, que significa “espírito” e “poneria”, que significa “iniqüidade”, “depravação”, “maligno”, “atividade de natureza má”). Estas forças oprimem a humanidade, tentando levá-la ao desespero e caos total. O medo, a angústia e os suicídios são resultantes destas forças espirituais malignas.

A base da nossa vitória
Como podemos vencer toda esta estrutura hierárquica de forças malignas? Temos que nos manter firmes na vitória conquistada por Cristo na cruz. Em Colos. 2:13-15 encontramos a chave para vencermos na guerra espiritual: Jesus derrotou a Satanás e a todos os principados malignos. A culpa nos afasta de vivermos esta experiência de vitória (Apoc. 12:10) e assim seremos derrotados. Jesus despojou os principados e potestades, os exibindo publicamente e deles triunfando na cruz. Triunfar não é ganhar uma batalha, trata-se da celebração de uma batalha que já foi ganha. A Bíblia declara que Deus, em Cristo sempre nos conduz em triunfo, e por meio de nós manifesta em todo o lugar o cheiro do seu conhecimento (II Cor. 2:14).

O por quê da guerra
Satanás tem buscado adoração. O homem é o canal de adoração: ao Deus único e verdadeiro ou a Satanás. As pessoas que não conhecem a Cristo, são como jóias nas mãos do Diabo, e ele não quer perder estas vidas.

Quando estudamos sobre as guerras na Bíblia, podemos perceber que sempre havia um propósito definido: saque e conquista de território (I Crôn. 20:2). Guerra espiritual não é um fim em si mesma, porém um meio para alcançar um grande objetivo: despojo. Existe vidas que precisam ser tomadas e levadas para o Reino de Deus.

Estamos vivendo dias proféticos e apostólicos. E uma igreja que está movendo em uma atmosfera apostólica, ela reconhece que é parte do exército de Deus com um supremo chamado de reconquistar todo o território que foi invadido pelo inimigo. O perímetro de ação do inimigo vai ser diminuído e o perímetro de ação do governo de Deus será ampliado. Esta igreja vai manifestar de maneira profética demonstrativa a vitória que foi conquistada por Cristo na cruz. Aleluia, nesta guerra somos vitoriosos juntamente com Cristo!!!
