A Lição da Tamargueira no Deserto

“Fugi, salvai a vossa vida; sede como a tamargueira no deserto” Jr 48: 6.O juízo de Deus estava sendo apregoado sob várias cidades que seriam desoladas, transformadas em lugar deserto. Por causa da maldade do povo, da dureza do coração e da incredulidade.O versículo prossegue: “Fugi.... por causa da confiança nas tuas obras, e nos teus tesouros, também tu serás tomada” Jr 48: 7.

Sobre a Tamargueira

A tamargueira é uma planta de crescimento lento, madeira macia que se desenvolve como arbusto ou árvore de pequeno porte em solos onde há água perto da superfície. A árvore é cheia de sulcos das regiões desérticas, com folhas muito pequenas em forma de escamas. O botânico alemão G. Ehrenberg afirma que o maná não era outra coisa senão uma secreção das árvores e arbustos da Tamargueira (espécie Tamarix Mannifera). Segundo ele, quando as árvores nativas são picadas pelo cochonilha, um inseto encontrado no Sinai, elas produzem uma secreção resinosa especial, que seria o maná bíblico. Ainda hoje esta resina, de gosto insípido, é encontrada em abundância na península do Sinai, deserto da Arábia e proximidades do Mar morto.

Em muitas áreas onde os cursos de água são pequenos ou intermitentes, ela domina a região, sendo capaz de limitar severamente a água disponível, ou até secar uma fonte de água. A tamargueira produz um tipo de tâmara, recebe  a luz solar e a transforma em massa. Quanto mais sol ela recebe, mais abre os seus pendões. Ela abre os pendões e cresce ereta (para o alto). Outra árvore qualquer morre no deserto, mas a tamargueira não , ela vive e produz suas tâmaras. É altamente resistente, ao ser queimada, não leva muito tempo para que surjam novos brotos.

Um Exército de Tamargueiras

A tribulação prestes a acontecer e aquele povo não estava preparado para o combate, de outra forma, o profeta Jeremias teria orientado a enfrentar o exército inimigo. Essa ordem de enfrentamento aconteceu em muitos combates protagonizados por Israel. Deus, escolhia os lideres e os capacitava para estarem à frente das batalhas. Foi assim com Moisés, Josué e Davi que sobrenaturalmente venceu gigantes. Pela fé, confiança em seu Deus.

O conselho foi: “Fugi, salvai a vossa vida; sede como a tamargueira no deserto” Jr 48:6

Vencer na adversidade. Aprender a confiar em Deus e perceber que o socorro do homem e dos bens materiais era vão. Ser tamargueira implicaria em situação de isolamento, reflexão, separação: do pecado, costumes e mentalidade predominante. Um exército de tamargueiras no deserto era o que pedia o coração de Deus através do profeta Jeremias. Uma nação, voltada para o socorro do alto, a Fonte de força e vitória.

Quem passa por uma tamargueira no deserto, pode estender suas mãos e pegar de seus frutos, alimentar-se deles durante o percurso de viajante no deserto. Tamargueiras dão sombra e alimento em meio à aridez e escassez. O segredo é que elas captam água a longas distâncias e ao absorverem a luz do sol, transformam seus pequenos frutos. Homens tamargueiras não cessam seus frutos em tempos de adversidade e transformam situações de derrota em alimento para si e para os viajantes.  As tamargueiras são prodígios de Deus porque apenas Ele é capaz de fazer com que uma planta sobreviva em clima tão quente como o deserto. Mas Ele dá as condições para isso.

Homens tamargueiras não devem colocar a fé no seu semelhante, mas confiam inteiramente em Deus, Ele sustenta de forma prodigiosa diante de toda e qualquer batalha.

Fugir Para Avançar Tempos Mais Tarde

A fuga aqui não indica medo, covardia, mas crescimento. A tamargueira no deserto me ensina que às vezes é necessário retroceder para vencer. O apóstolo Paulo, certa feita, se fingiu de morto na cidade de Icônio. “Apedrejaram a Paulo e o arrastaram para fora da cidade, cuidando que estava morto” At. 14:19. Foi uma situação de fuga, ele não se viu em condições de enfrentar os inimigos, se tivesse ido por esse caminho, teria morrido verdadeiramente.

A tamargueira me diz que tenho que recuar algumas vezes para avançar tempos mais tarde. É necessário fortalecer-se no deserto, para poder enfrentar os exércitos. Olhando para a Bíblia, vemos que todos os que prosperaram na caminhada com Deus tiveram seu tempo de “fuga”. Moisés fugiu do Egito para abrigar-se em Mídia, lá foi moldado até se tornar “o homem mais manso da terra”,  capaz, preparado para ser líder. Nm 12:3.

Sou Tamargueira

Tempo no deserto é tempo de crescimento. De buscar água na fonte com toda a força da raiz. É tempo  de viver do maná que é a Palavra de Deus e desse mesmo maná alimentar outros. Tamargueira é refúgio, mas ela é sustentada por um Refúgio maior. Assim somos nós. Não nos desesperemos quando os inimigos se voltarem contra nós, mas fujamos para perto de Deus. Nossa vida não está firmada na força humana, mas na força e providência de Deus. A tamargueira tem alta capacidade de regeneração. Deus tem anseio por transformar situações, regenerar e nos garantir vitória: “Meus pensamentos sobre vós é de paz, para vos dar o bem que precisais” Jr 29:11. Que em tempos de desolação, sejamos nós como a tamargueira no deserto.
