Texto: “Porque fostes comprados por preço, agora, pois, glorificai a Deus no vosso corpo” (I Co 6:20).Fomos comprados
A Bíblia nos fala sobre o profeta Oséias e seu casamento com Gômer. Ele a amava e tiveram três filhos: Jezreel, Lo-Ruama e Lo-Ami. Entretanto o seu casamento com Gômer era um exemplo vivo da realidade espiritual do povo de Israel.O povo tinha o coração longe do Senhor, seu Deus, e buscava deuses falsos. Enquanto Oséias amava sua esposa e se dedicava ao lar, Gômer tinha seu coração longe da família e bem distante do amor de seu esposo.
Aconteceu o inevitável: Gômer seguiu o caminho da lascívia e da prostituição. Ela abandonou o lar, deixando os filhos sozinhos e seu lar em tristeza profunda. Com o passar do tempo, ela se endividou com os prazeres do mundo e foi parar no mercado de escravos. Foi então comprada por quinze peças de prata e um ômer e meio de cevada. Oséias a comprou para si e a trouxe para casa, com toda alegria. Pediu-lhe que ela se purificasse para ele. Foi uma experiência singular, e ela, arrependida, entendeu o quanto era amada e precisava corresponder ao amor de seu marido.
Esta história bíblica é um grande exemplo do amor de Deus por nós. Deus criou o homem em santidade e pureza, mas o homem preferiu o pecado, havendo, então, uma ruptura drástica entre ele e o Criador. O homem começou a viver afastado de Deus, como escravo do pecado, oprimido pelas trevas, colocado no mercado, sem a dignidade com a qual fora criado. Então, o Senhor nos comprou novamente para si.
Onde estaríamos hoje, se não fosse este grande amor? Esta verdade nos faz perceber e confirmar que o Senhor é o nosso dono: Ele nos tirou do mercado de escravos, nos tornou livres – nos comprou por alto preço (I Pe 1:19; I Co 6:20).
É importante pensarmos que Jesus foi avaliado pelo preço de uma escrava, 30 moedas de prata. Ele, porém, valia mais que o mundo inteiro – pois Ele mesmo é o criador de todas as coisas. Entretanto, ali na cruz, o Senhor trocou as etiquetas de preço, e passamos a valer mais que o mundo inteiro, aleluia!
Amor de Deus e Consagração Pessoal
É maravilhoso compreender essa verdade: “Deus nos amou e deu seu Filho para morrer na cruz em nosso lugar”. Ao perceber que fomos comprados por tão alto preço, o nosso coração precisa responder também a esse amor (Jo 3:16).
Mergulhar nesse amor é experimentar a verdadeira vida e isto nos leva à consagração total.
O Conde Zinzerdorf teve sua experiência de conversão ao contemplar uma pintura retratando o Senhor Jesus pendurado na cruz. O artista conseguiu colocar no olhar de Jesus tamanha vida que transmitiu a mensagem do evangelho. Foi dado o seguinte nome ao quadro: “morri na cruz por ti, que fazes tu por mim”? Com estas mesmas palavras foi composto um antigo hino, trazendo esta reflexão para o coração do crente: “o que temos feito pelo Senhor em troca de tão grande amor”?
O significado da consagração a Deus:
Consagração é o oferecimento de culto a Deus. É um ato de adoração profunda e sincera. Consagrar-se é apresentar-se diante de Deus com as mãos cheias. É ter o que oferecer ao Senhor. O ato de se consagrar ao Senhor significa oferecer-se a Deus para ser apenas um servo, em sacrifício vivo, santo e agradável. Paulo nos diz isto em Rm 12:1: “Rogo-vos, pois, irmãos, pelas misericórdias de Deus, que apresenteis os vossos corpos por sacrifício vivo, santo e agradável a Deus, que é o vosso culto racional”.
Podemos perceber que de maneira tríplice nós nos tornamos propriedade de Deus: 1) porque Ele nos criou (Sl 24:1); 2) porque Ele nos amou e comprou com o sangue precioso de Jesus (I Pe 1:19); 3) porque nós o amamos e nos entregamos a Ele em consagração total, nos demos como “sacrifício vivo” ao Senhor (Rm 12:1).
O alvo supremo da consagração
O alvo supremo da consagração é o serviço ao Senhor. O “sacrifício vivo” ficava na presença do sacerdote por tempo indeterminado: no caso de animais, poderia ficar para o serviço do campo ou poderia ser oferecido a Deus em holocausto a qualquer momento.
Em termos humanos, temos o exemplo de Samuel, que foi um sacrifício vivo, oferecido por sua mãe, Ana, e seu pai, Elcana. Samuel cresceu na presença de Deus desde pequeno, morando no templo e obedecendo às orientações do sacerdote Eli. Foi chamado para o serviço profético e sacerdotal, e serviu também como juiz e líder em Israel.
Todo crente deve ser um servo. Deve estar pronto a cumprir a vontade do Pai Celestial. Deve amar como Jesus amou. Deve estar ligado ao “corpo de Cristo” e viver em santidade e prontidão para o Senhor.
Quando compreendemos o valor que temos para Deus, o preço que custamos para Ele, o propósito que Ele tem para nossas vidas, então, há grande alegria em dizer: “eis-me aqui, Senhor. Envia-me a mim”.
Você já disse isto ao Senhor? Você já se consagrou inteiramente a Ele?

Desafios:
1.Separe cânticos de consagração e cante-os de todo o coração nesses dias.
2.Coloque diariamente seus alvos para o ano de 2007 diante do Senhor e ore por sua vida espiritual e seu crescimento na graça e comunhão com o Senhor.
3.Faça uma consagração específica de cada parte de seu corpo para o uso exclusivo de Deus. Proclame que seus ouvidos pertencem somente a Ele, sua boca falará a sua bendita Palavra (evitando palavras vãs, torpes; a mentira, a ira, a falsidade, a vaidade, etc). Suas mãos e seus pés estarão dispostos a ir e fazer apenas o que o Senhor ordenar, aleluia!
4.Venha aos cultos com toda a família e consagre seu lar, seus filhos a Deus.
5.Seja sensível ao chamado do Senhor, estando pronto para obedecer: sendo um intercessor; fazendo tudo em atitude de adoração e levando a Palavra do perdão e da salvação às pessoas com quem você convive.
