Introdução: Um dos grandes males dos nossos dias é a ansiedade, especialmente no que diz respeito ao nosso sustento e às nossas necessidades. Jesus chama para segui-loum grupo de homens, os quais estavam sujeitos às mesmas ansiedades materiais características de toda a espécie humana.

Por exemplo: Pedro trabalhava numa indústria pesqueira; Simão o Zelote, era um radical de extrema esquerda; Mateus era um fiscal de renda; Zaqueu era um alto funcionário da fiscalização de impostos da Prefeitura de Jericó; André era pescador e foi relações públicas do colegiado Apostólico; Lucas foi um médico que socializou a sua profissão.

Todos esses homens corriam o risco de cair na ansiedade pelos bens deste mundo.

Razões para Não Cairmos na Ansiedade:
O texto mostra oito razões para dizermos não a ansiedade:

1ª) Porque os bens deste mundo podem ser roubados ou deteriorados (v.19-21).

2ª) Porque os bens deste mundo podem poluir a vida com a cobiça (v.22-23). Os olhos são a lâmpada do corpo (vide Pv. 23:4-5).

3ª) Porque os bens deste mundo exigem do homem uma dedicação de servo, e o homem é colocado entre duas opções (v.24). A ansiedade é um sentimento dos escravos dos bens materiais.

4ª) Porque uma das estratégias do inimigo é fazer o homem lutar por coisas que não relação com aquilo que é a sua necessidade básica (v.25 e Pv. 30: 8). O Espírito em comunhão com Deus é quem determina a plenitude da vida, não o nosso organismo. Assim como não é uma roupa bem apresentada que prova o estado de saúde do corpo. Tem muitas pessoas gravemente enfermas e esconde através de uma aparência produzida.

5ª) A ansiedade impede o homem de possuir as coisas, quando elas lhe são dadas. Porque ele não acredita na promessa dAquele que sempre supre as nossas necessidades.

Busca conseguir por seus próprios meios e fica ansioso.

6ª) A ansiedade vem quando não crê no senso dos valores de Deus (v.26).

Creia que você tem valor para Deus, confiando em que Ele sabe o que é melhor para você.

7ª) A ansiedade não prolonga a vida, ela não pode aumentar os anos da existência humana (v.27).

8ª) A ansiedade não produz fé, porque ela não descansa na provisão diária de Deus (v.30; Sl. 37:25).

Conclusão: Deus sabe e conhece quais são as necessidades humanas, dando-nos o que precisamos e não o que queremos. (v.31-32).

Hoje não é o dia de nos preocuparmos com o amanhã (v.34). Se você pode solucionar ou impedir um problema que vai estourar amanhã, ou no próximo mês, faça algo no sentido de resolvê-lo.

Aprendendo o segredo do sustento:
-Trabalhando pela expansão do Reino de Deus.
-Colocando Deus como prioridade
-Vivendo a verdade do Reino de Deus (Pv. 12: 17).

Não fique ansioso! Deus cumpre o que promete.
